PHINMA Foundation, Inc. (PFI) sustained its commitment to empowering future generations through education by conducting Meet and Greet sessions with its scholars at four partner schools across Mindanao from September 25 to 27.
The activity fostered stronger relationships with students, their families, and school administrators—with scholars sharing their personal journeys, challenges, and aspirations. PFI also reinforced its dedication to supporting deserving but financially challenged students through its Science Education and Engineering Fund (SEEF), a scholarship program available to students pursuing Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM) in senior high school and engineering courses in partner universities.
The Meet & Greet sessions were held at the following SEEF partner schools:
- PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College
- Philippine Science High School – Central Mindanao Campus
- Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology
- Gusa Regional Science High School – X
“We are deeply moved by the stories of resilience and determination shared by our PHINMA scholars,” said Ron Ranier Reyes, Executive Director of PHINMA Foundation. “Opportunities to meet them and learn more about their journey strengthen our resolve to continue supporting their dreams and developing partnerships with educational institutions that make this possible. We hope that through these school visits, we inspire our scholars to pursue their studies and contribute to creating innovative solutions that will shape the future of our country.”
The activity was a meaningful step in building a supportive and inclusive community around the scholars, ensuring that they receive not only financial aid but also the emotional and moral encouragement they need to succeed.
PHINMA Foundation remains committed to providing access to learning opportunities for low-income students across the Philippines, believing that education is key to unlocking better opportunities and building a better future.
